ROCKCHASE SPORTS CRICKET CENTRE BOOKING POLICY

All bookings for the hire of Rockchase Sports Cricket Centre facilities shall be made using the appropriate booking form online, in person, or over the phone. The person making the booking must be over 18 years of age and shall be considered the ‘Customer’ or ‘Hirer’. The names of everyone using the nets must be provided at the time of booking, and all users will be required to sign in upon arrival at the Centre. If bookings are made on behalf of an organisation or club, that organisation or club must
be named during the booking process and will be considered the Customer, jointly and severally liable with the person who makes the booking.
The hours of facility hire must include time for both preparation and clean-up. To confirm your booking, full payment must be made at the time of booking.
Once your booking has been made and you have received your confirmation email, no refunds or credits will be given if cancellations occur within 48 hours of the activity commencing. If a cancellation is made with more than 48 hours’ notice, you will be
given credit to use at the Centre, but no monetary refund will be provided.
Rockchase Sports Cricket Centre reserves the right to refuse any application for use of the facilities or participation in coaching courses without being required to provide a reason.
It is the Hirer's responsibility to ensure that all external, non-Rockchase Sports coaches hold valid DBS and first aid certificates. For block bookings, copies must be provided to Rockchase Sports Cricket Centre at the time of booking. Failure to do so will result in cancellation. Parents are advised not to leave their children unattended at the centre if using an external, non-Rockchase Sports coach.
Public Liability: Clubs, Schools, Universities, Corporations C Associations must provide a valid copy of their Public Liability Insurance document (£5,000,000 cover) before the start of hire. Failure to do so may prevent the use of Rockchase Sports Cricket Centre facilities.
The Hirer shall not use the centre for any purpose other than that specified in the booking confirmation email.
Reasonable care must be taken to protect any surfaces or equipment that could suffer damage as a result of the hire.
It is the Customer’s responsibility to ensure all minors (under 18 years old) wear and use appropriate protective equipment. Minors under the age of 18 must wear cricket helmets when using the net facilities with hard cricket balls.

Rockchase Sports Cricket Centre accepts no responsibility for accidents or injuries occurring under parental, club, or other third-party hiring of the facilities.
Various notices and rules in the centre and net lanes are in place for the health and safety of hirers and others. Rockchase Sports Cricket Centre accepts no responsibility for accidents or injuries if these rules are not adhered to.
If the lanes are not fully vacated by the scheduled end time, a surcharge will be applied for the extra time.
The Hirer agrees to repay Rockchase Sports Cricket Centre all expenses incurred in cleaning, repairing, or replacing any part of the buildings or contents lost, damaged, or destroyed due to the Hirer’s use of the facilities.
The Hirer shall indemnify Rockchase Sports Cricket Centre from and against all costs, claims, expenses, or damages incurred directly or indirectly from the Hirer's use of the hired facility and equipment.
When hiring a bowling machine, you will receive 24 balls for the Adults’ machine or 12 balls for the Kids’ machine. A £5 deposit is required at the start of the session, which will be returned when all balls are returned.
The Hirer shall not carry out any alterations to the buildings or fittings, nor affix any apparatus, equipment, or decorations without prior consent from Rockchase Sports Cricket Centre.
Hirers must observe the maximum capacity in net lanes. The maximum lane capacity is 6 people. With the Rockchase Sports Cricket Centre manager's approval, more people per lane may be permitted at the Hirer’s own risk.
Additional people will NOT be permitted to swap with those in the net or wait in the kit bag or waiting areas.
The Hirer is responsible for ensuring all persons using the facilities are appropriately attired. Footwear worn outside or likely to dirty or mark the floor must not be worn. Spikes are prohibited. The decision of Rockchase Cricket Centre or its authorised personnel regarding suitable attire or footwear is final and binding.
All persons wishing to use the bowling machine must receive training from Rockchase Cricket Centre staff prior to hire. The minimum age for using the bowling machine is 18, and all persons under 18 must be supervised by a qualified coach. Rockchase Cricket Centre reserves the right to refuse use of the bowling machine. It is the Hirer’s
responsibility to request appropriate training if needed.
No food is permitted in the net lanes, and only plastic sports bottles are allowed in the playing arena and net lanes.

Photographic equipment is continuously used at Rockchase Cricket Centre. All Customers consent to being filmed for these purposes and agree to the use of this content by Rockchase for marketing purposes.
Rockchase Cricket Centre does not accept liability for any loss or damage to vehicles or their contents while parked on the premises.
In case of fire, Hirers should familiarise themselves and inform participants and spectators of escape routes, fire extinguishers, fire alarms, exit doors, and rendezvous points. It is the Hirer's responsibility to obtain this information from Rockchase Cricket Centre staff before using the facility.
No animals are permitted on the premises, except for guide dogs belonging to registered blind persons.
