Rockchase T10 League – Match Regulations 2025
1. General Information
- Competition Period: November 2025 – February 2026
- Match Days: Thursday, Friday, Saturday (9:00 PM – 11:00 PM)
- Two neutral umpires officiate each match
- A new ball will be used for every match; damaged seam = replacement allowed
2. Team Composition & Player Requirements
- Each team fields 6 players.
- At least 4 players must be present at the time of toss.
- Toss must be held on time before the match.
- Teams must submit a list of 10 registered players before the tournament.
- Any player changes require committee approval.
- Only players registered on Play-Cricket may participate.
- If a team has fewer than 6 players after 15 mins → automatic forfeit.
3. Attire & Equipment
- Only recognised coloured cricket attire allowed.
- Wooden and tape ball bats allowed; carbon fibre bats not permitted.
- Wicket-keeper should wear gloves.
- Protective equipment optional but recommended.
4. Payments
- Registration Fee: ÂŁ150
- Match Fee: ÂŁ60 per game (payable on the day)
- Forfeiting team must pay the total match cost (both teams)
- Prize Money:
- Winner: ÂŁ1,200 + Trophy
- Runner-Up: ÂŁ500
5. League Structure
- Round-robin: each team plays all others twice.
- Top 4 teams qualify for semi-finals.
- Semi-final winners progress to the final.
6. Points System

7. Match Format
- One innings per side; max 10 overs.
- Batter retires at 30 runs and may return once all batters have played.
- No “last man standing”.
8. Bowling Rules
- Minimum 4 bowlers must bowl.
- Bowling limits:
- One bowler may bowl max 3 overs
- All others may bowl 2 overs
- No Ball Rules:
- Overs 1–9: No ball = free hit (still counted as legal delivery)
- If a no-ball is bowled on 6th ball → first ball of next over is free hit
- Last Over: No balls & wides must be re-bowled
- Wide Ball:
- Offside: marked wide line applies
- Leg side: anything on leg side is wide
9. Scoring Rules

10. Dismissals
- Standard dismissals apply: bowled, caught, run-out, stumped, hit wicket, LBW.
- LBW applies.
- Top-net catch rule removed.
- If ball hits base of wicket during run-out attempt → OUT.
- Fielder leaning on side wall while catching → catch valid.
11. Additional Rules
- Any attachments or ceiling/wall obstructions are part of playing area.
- Umpires may call 1-run dead ball if obstruction makes fielding impossible.
- Player checks will be enforced; ineligible players cause forfeiture.
12. Enforcement
- All regulations strictly enforced.
- Penalties may include:
- Points deductions
- Match forfeiture
- Disqualification
- Teams failing multiple fixtures may face relegation.
